Lenten Devotional: Thursday, February 26, 2015

1 Corinthians 14:26 “What then shall we say, brothers? When you come together,
everyone has a hymn, or a word of instruction, a revelation, a tongue or
an interpretation. All of these must be done for the strengthening of the church.”Temple

I want to make my body and all its physical action edify God; to offer up my actions
to glorify God. But in the end the cleanliness of my mind is required. Right action is
good, but right mind, right thoughts, and a right heart are what are required. Thoughts
lead the body. The body does not lead the mind. When the Christ mind is achieved
the body is no longer a slave but comes willingly. To know Christ is to know love. The
body becomes a willing slave to this love and obeys.

Prayer: Lord, thank you for my blessings and for my life. Thank you for the breath in
my lungs. Amen
