Lenten Devotional: Friday, February 20, 2015

Mark 5:18-19 “As Jesus was getting in the boat, the man who had been demon-possessed
begged to go with him. Jesus did not let him, but said, ‘Go home to
your family and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has
had mercy on you.’”

That verse says to me, tell your people that the Lord Jesus can and will do for all who
believe and repent and be baptized with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Jesus’ mercy,
grace and faithfulness are much more than we can think. If we could love Jesus as
much as Jesus loves us through the Father, this world would be a better place.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, through your son, Jesus Christ, we can receive the forgiveness
that the never ending love of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit will give freely! Amen.
